2026 POKER RUN

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All entries must abide by Oklahoma Boating & Highway Laws. Safety comes first!

2. More than one entry per craft will be permitted. More than one entry per person will be permitted.

3. The “owner” of an entry shall be the individual who signs the waiver on the entry form. The owner will be required to provide a state-issued photo ID when they pick up their original packet. The owner may then designate another individual to pick up poker chips at the marinas. All prize money will be made payable and any 1099s issued to the owners of the hands. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

4. There will be no limit on the number of entries accepted.

5. Owner of hand must be 21 years of age or older.

6. The run will begin at 9 a.m. and will end at 3 p.m. Each participant will pick up designated poker chips from each marina along with obtaining a signature on the registration card. You may complete the run at your leisure as long as you have gathered all your poker chips by 3 p.m. Hands will be dealt at Eufaula Cove Marina when the registration card is completed and turned in. No additional cards will be drawn. Participant may keep poker chips.

7. All entrants will pick up their Hawg (6th) chip, if purchased, at Eufaula Cove Marina. All other five chips will be picked up from participating marinas. All must be picked up by 3 p.m. Saturday. NO EXCEPTIONS!

8. You can turn in your chips at any time, but any participant who is not in line for check-in at Eufaula Cove Marina by 4 p.m. will forfeit their entry fee and cannot continue to the check-in table. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Pre-registered entrants have the option to pick up their packets from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, July 24th, at the Eufaula Area Chamber of Commerce office located at 301 N. Main. Packets may also be picked up from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 25th, at Eufaula Cove Marina.

Any participant not checked in by 12:00 p.m. will forfeit their entry fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!

9. Pick up your other chips after 9 a.m. Saturday at any of the participating marinas.

10. Hands will be revealed by the dealer upon completion beginning at 11 a.m. inside Tumbleweed’s Steakhouse at Eufaula Cove Marina. Only those hands in the prize money will be posted.

11. Prizes will be awarded according to the rules of 5 Card Stud. Jokers will only be played as Aces, Straights, and Flushes.

12. The total number of entries will determine the amount of prize money given away. Prize winners over $600.00 will receive an IRS Form 1099.

13. Prizes:

A. First through fifth prizes will be awarded to the highest five-card stud hands (example: 5 Aces, Royal Flush, Straight Flush, 4 of a Kind, Full House, etc.).

B. Forty-five jokers will be distributed throughout the decks and are to be used as wild cards. For example, if you have 4 Kings, the joker will be used as an Ace.

C. The lowest hand of the contest will receive a $1,000 prize (example: A, 2, 3, 4, 6). Jokers can only be used on a low hand as an Ace.

D. Any contestant drawing a 2 of Hearts will receive a $100 prize on the spot.

E. In case of a tie, the prize money for those places will be combined and divided equally.

14. Hawg Cards (6th Chip):

A. A Hawg Card works much like a Mulligan in golf. Upon check-in at Tumbleweed’s Steakhouse at Eufaula Cove Marina, if you purchased a Hawg Card at the time of registration, you will receive a poker chip. Each entry will be allowed to purchase only one Hawg Card.

B. Hawg Cards (6th Chip) can only be purchased at registration for $25. It must be purchased before the poker run begins.

15. All winners will be announced and monies will be awarded after 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, via Facebook, website, and radio.

16. Event organizers have the right to cancel the poker run in case of severe weather or for safety reasons and will reschedule at a later date.

17. Dealers have the final decision on any contested hands.

18. All cards are retained and are the property of the Eufaula Area Chamber of Commerce.

No profanity, aggressive behavior, or threats to tournament contestants, officials, or volunteers will be tolerated. Violation of this rule will result in forfeiture of poker run entry, potential prize money, and may include other actions as needed. ZERO TOLERANCE — NO EXCEPTIONS!

OPTIONAL DRAWINGS

Merchant Receipts: Purchase any product from any Chamber member on the day of the run prior to 3 p.m. and ask for your receipt. A receipt for any item, including auto fuel, boat fuel, ice, or snacks, will be considered acceptable.

Receipts may be presented and turned in to the Merchant Table at Eufaula Cove Marina and exchanged for tickets. You will receive one ticket for every $10, or part of $10, spent. One ticket will be drawn and the winner will receive $500. It will be your responsibility to identify Chamber members. A list of current members will be included with your registration packets. MERCHANTS’ DRAWING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE POKER RUN AND NO EARLIER THAN 3:00 P.M. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!

50/50 Tickets:

A. You may purchase 50/50 tickets at any participating marina, including registration at the Chamber office. The 50/50 drawing will take place second at the conclusion of the Poker Run and no earlier than 3:00 p.m. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!

B. Tickets are sold in a minimum of $10 lots. No limit.

C. All tickets will be combined into one hopper.

D. One ticket will be drawn and the winner will receive half of the money collected. Tickets will be sold until 3 p.m. Winnings will be distributed by check to the winner. Winner will be announced via Facebook, website, and radio. Winning ticket will be verified. You have until 4 p.m. on the following Monday to claim.

COLLECT POKER CHIPS, GET YOUR PASSPORT STAMPED, AND TURN IN YOUR STAMPED PASSPORT TO THE DEALER TO COLLECT CARDS.
